Course Overview
Site Execution Management, Safety & EHS Management
⏱ Duration: 30 Hours (Total) | Weekend (Friday/Saturday)
Course Description
This course aims to equip future site engineers and project managers with practical skills in structural execution supervision and comprehensive site safety management.
Instructor
- Ms. Mardia Mumtaz (Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, DIU)
- Faysal Ahmed (Senior Engineer, Daffodil International University)
- Md. Rabiul Islam (Assistant Engineer, P&D. Specialist in Foundation Engineering & Site Safety)
- Md. Tonmoy Alam (Assistant Engineer, P&D. Expert in High-Rise Structural Execution)
Evidence of Demand
- There is a critical gap between academic theory and on-site reality in the construction sector.
- Many graduates lack practical supervision skills for structural execution and are unfamiliar with mandatory safety protocols (BNBC/EHS).
- Construction projects frequently face delays, quality issues, and safety hazards due to inadequate site management.
- Industry demands engineers who can enforce quality control and safety compliance simultaneously.
Course Objectives
This course aims to:
- Master field execution of Piling, Concreting, and Grid Alignment.
- Implement rigorous Site Safety protocols and EHS management.
- Ensure quality control through pre-pour/post-pour inspections.
- Manage labor and logistics effectively during critical phases.
