Syllabus

Module 1 (1 Hr)

Introduction to structural Design (Stress, Strain, Mechanical properties of material, Stiffness, Indeterminate Structures, Load path, Moment of Inertial, CG & CR, SFD & BMD etc.

Module 2 (5 Hr)

  • Vertical Load (DL & LL) Calculation for software (ETABS & Staad Pro) including serviceability (Deflection) 
  • Lateral Load Calculation for software (ETABS & Staad Pro) including serviceability (Deflection, Drift, P-Δ, Building irregularity etc.)
  • Load Combinations 

Module 3 (8 Hr)

Modelling Multi Storied Steel Shed Building using Staad Pro (Static & Dynamic Analysis)

Module 4 (3 Hr)

Check Serviceability & Design Output of Different Steel Members in Staad Pro

Module 5 (2 Hr)

Connection Design by RAM Connection

Module 6 (2 Hr)

Seismic Design & Detailing for Different Steel Frame System. 

Module 7 (5 Hr)

  • Bearing Capacity & Settlement Calculation of Shallow Foundation
  • Soil Capacity & Settlement for Deep Foundation

  • B.Sc. Civil Engineering (or final-year students)
